Center for Community Development is working in 199 compact tribal and non-tribal villages in 29 GPs, coming under Gumma, Kasinagar, Paralakhemundi, Rayagada and Nuagada Blocks of Gajapati District-the most backward District in Orissa and scaled up no. 1 backward district in India, assiduously initiating its developmental plan of action since 11 years of its inception in the field of education, community health, income generating activities, natural resource management by means of implementing mini and sub-watershed programmes, massive plantation, protection and restoration of escalating environment for sustainable eco-development, development of waste and barren land as an adventure of tame revolution.

In order to provide the food security for sustainable livelihood initiative approaches, formation of joint forest management committee, vanasamrakhyana samities , sustainable agriculture, women empowerment by means of forming 270 self-help groups with total of 4201 members involving tribes and non-tribes to enhance the saving credibility and the prodigal use of money for the maintenance and thrift & credit system with mutual trust and respect, gender equity, focus on emergence of women leadership generating for the exposition of the hidden potentialities claiming the assertive rights, malaria prevention measures, steps for the gratifying cause of the rehabilitation of differentially ambled, Govt. resource mobilization for fascinating rural reconstruction, net working with other NGOs, legal aid support to the deserted, desolated, marginalized and the impoverished women, old age persons and help line support to the elders and the disaster prone victims etc.
